Middle East’s Largest Lead-Zinc Mine in Yazd

The day before, the extraction operation began one of the largest mines of lead and zinc in the Yazd province, so that the desert province located in the central part of the Iranian plateau will take further steps towards industrialization and economic development.

According to Jamaghm, the historical province of Yazd, which is a warm and desert province and due to its dry and desert climate, has not developed much in the agricultural sector, has been able to develop its economic development based on its historical and historical heritage, tourism activities as well as the development of industries such as tiles and Ceramics, wires and cables, metal industries and … The province also has a wealth of mines that have been influential in its economic development. Now, one of the richest and largest mines in the province is on the verge of extraction and processing.

The mine is the largest lead-and-zinc mine in the country and the Middle East, and the world's second-largest lead-and-mines reserve, which was launched yesterday at the ceremony at the presence of the minister of industry, mining and commerce.

This valuable, valuable and valuable mine is located in the city of Mehriz in the south of Yazd city. The mine also has barite reserves of more than 10 million tons with a specific weight of 3.6 tonnes, with a total annual output of 400 thousand tons of barite and 1200 tons of lead and zinc. He also said that the contract has been signed with the Mobin Consortium for the abandonment and preparation of the mine and is scheduled to be 185 million tons in five years and the construction of a unit of concentrate 800 thousand tonne by 35 percent.

One billion dollars investment
