How Finance, Administration and Trade Department of Mehdiabad Mine Complex Performed in First Year

Mehdiabad Mine Complex PR: Mr. Mansouri, Finance, Administration and Trade Manager of Mehdiabad reported the changes and performance of his department in tha past year:

In the past year, regarding the significance the management has given to human resourse and personnel of the complex as the core asset of the complex, the organizational chart was followed up closely and the BOD of the complex developed and approved it and it is now implemented. The personnel have been assigned formally to motivate them and finally to grow the complex increasingly: he said.

He carried on: training and development plan has been developed for the personnel to empower them through updating their knowledge. This will ensure reaching our targets as well as optimization in results. Also, Wellfare Statement of Labor has been declared, with the result of increased motivation of personnel.  

The Trade Function, separated in September of 2015 and activated more than before; now all the purchases as well as documentations are planned and performed from A-Z by this section. Last year in October, three tenders were held to determine the outsourced contractor of the personnel transport service, catering of personnel, and human resource services. The contractors were idenetified and are currently servicing. In 2016, these tenders have been held again to determine the qualified contractors, with their contracts being drawn up. Also, for the bids, a number of 8 bids were held last year to sell 30,000 tons of barite, 1000 tons of barite powder, and 100,000 tons of zinc oxide and 25,000 tons of calamine. In the first five months of the current Iranian year, three bids were performed to sell 45,000 tons of calamine, 50,000 tons of zinc oxide and to deliver 150,000 tons of barite based on the contracts closed. All the bids and tenders have been planned and performed by the laws regulating governmental deals, Endineer Mansouri added.

He went on to say: for accouting section, all the items in the warehouses of the complex have been reviwed in the past year, and some items were collaboratively registered in the systems. The most significant activity of the finance section in the past year has been the delivery of the finance statement of the complex for the past years, resulting in revising and categorizing the accounts of the complex for the past years and reflecting the revised documents and statements in the accounts of the complex.

The first financial statement of the complex presentable to the auditors was developed and submitted. For the first time, the accounts of the complex were audited by the auditors. Now the process of the account fix and developing a platform to keep accounts and develop verifiable reports is ongoing.

From Mr. Mansouri’s point of view, these efforts are the fruits of special care given to this department by the Management to progress and excellence of the department. He thanked the Management and hoped they can act as expected and leave a good heritage for the next generations.
