Public Relations of Mehdiabad Mine Complex: Recession of Mehdiabad Ends

PR: since the second half of the Iranian year of 1393 (last quarter of 2014- first quarter of 2015), authorities are being more than serious to trigger execution operations of Mehdiabad plans so that all affairs have been accelerated and all the challenges and obstacles have been overcome and today we can see the execution of different plans of this sifnificant and unvaluable mine.

Initiation of waste removal and opening of the steps of lead and zinc Mine after 60 years since the initial explorations put and end to the standing expectations and questions of the stakeholders of the industry.

A waste removal and mining of 188 million tons in the first four years indicates one of the greatest soil and mine operation of Iran, now performed coming over many challenges. This is like a beacon light of hope for the future of lead and zinc industry of Iran.

Also, establishment of 100-thousand-ton plants of zinc bars as well as 100-thousand-ton plants of zinc concentrates is approaching, with their initial studies, locating, mapping, land delivery and …. Phased gone through and now we are aiting for the purchase of the hardware and equipment of the plants and their import to Iran, which will happen soon.

Mining and sales of barite has started, bringing more prosperity to Mehdiabad Mine.

Barite processing plan with a capacity of one million tons per year as the largest barit plant in the Middle East, avoiding sales of raw material and creating value added of producing an export product is another great plan which is now publishing its documents of tender to select a contractor only after 6 months of presenting the proposal and conducting feasibility studies. Soon will we see a one-million-ton barite plant (as the greatest barite plant in the Middle East) established in Mehdiabad Mine Complex.
