Seven Companies Qualify for Investment in Mehdiabad Lead and Zinc Mine

Mr. Lotfi, PMO Manager, in an interview with PR: there are 7 companies currently qualifying for investment.

Lotfi: to identify the qualifying investor for Mehdiabad Mine, a two-step process will be taken:

The first step, called quality pre-evaluation, was performed by first publishing the ads in the press and having companies apply by filling quality pre-evaulation documents and submitting them to the Organizations Secretariat. Thirteen companies and consertiums submitted their documents, reviewed by IMIDRO, out of which 7 companies or consertiums were identified as qualified, including: Glencore International Holding, Sadr Tamin Consertium, Sinomach Chinese Consertium- CMIC-ENFI, Bafgh Lead Melt Consertium, BATTERI LIMITS of Australia, Zarrin Mine and Industry Consertium, Sarcheshme Inseting Group, ROSTEC of Russia, CINF of China, Kati Kavan and … Iran Lead Mines Development Consertium, Outotec Company of Finland an Mobin-Arya Jonoob-Maskani-Lead and Zinc Mines and Industires Association Consertium.

He added:

Results of the pre-evaluation step have been sent to them and invitation letters to receive investor call documents have been submitted to them, with most of them receiving the documents.

The companies should fill the documents and submit them to IMIDRO by the end of the first quarter of current Iranian year.

Applicants will conduct processing tests and studies and will submit their proposals to IMIDRO after identifying required technologies and evaluating tech and economic aspects.
